This week’s wine tasting will feature four wonderful South African wines including three from Kumusha wines. These stunning wines are made in collaboration with Zimbabwe sommelier Tinashe Nyamudoka and Opstal Estate and are fantastic food wines! We are also pouring a Pinotage that doesn’t even taste a bit like bandaids! Stop in from 4pm to 7pm and see for yourself.

Kumusha Sauvignon Blanc
Reg. $14.99 15% Off $12.74
The Sauvignon Blanc is aged in stainless steel with the lees for four months which gives it a beautiful juxtaposition between a creamy texture and zippy citrus notes. Hints of ripe peach, melon, guava and passion fruit give you the typical crisp nose but the palate is deceptively rich and mineral driven.
Kumusha Chenin Blanc
Reg. $14.99 15% Off $12.74
The Kumusha Chenin Blanc is rich and textural, bursting with notes of under ripe stone fruit, golden apples and balanced acidity. Enjoy this with roasted chicken, squash and South African grilled cheese!
Stonecross Pinotage
Reg. $11.99 15% Off $10.19
This Pinotage is one of the good examples with ripe raspberries, dark cherries and ample amount of baking spice notes. Subtle earthiness and lingering tannins make this the perfect pair for anything off of the grill!
Kumusha Cabernet Sauvignon
Reg. $14.99 15% Off $12.74
The Cabernet is peppery and slightly gamy like a northern Rhone Syrah with notes of leather and earth like a great Bordeaux. The wine is destemmed and then put in an old oak cask for an extended maceration of thirty days before being taken off the skins. The wine is then aged in large oak casks for a year, bottled and then aged in bottle for four additional months.
