We are pouring four different wines from South Africa this week! Curt from Baobab wines will be pouring a Sauvignon Blanc, a zesty rosé, a Chenin Blanc and a Cabernet so there will be something for everyone! Stop in from 4pm to 7pm and find your favorite!

Cheers,

Backbone Rosé

Reg. $11.99 15% Off $10.19

The wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah and while I never thought that these two grapes could play nicely together this rosé has proved me wrong. Notes of watermelon, raspberry and bing cherry are jolted awake by lime zest, saline minerality and racy acid that I attribute to the Sauvignon Blanc.

Backbone Sauvignon Blanc

Reg. $11.99 15% Off $10.19

South African Sauvignon Blanc is the next big thing I think! New Zealand prices are skyrocketing and you cannot beat the value you get from South Africa. Nice and dry but bursting with notes of citrus zest and a slight peppery edge!

Kumusha Chenin Blanc

Reg. $14.99 15% Off $12.74

The Kumusha Chenin Blanc is rich and textural, bursting with notes of under ripe stone fruit, golden apples and balanced acidity. Enjoy this with roasted chicken, squash and South African grilled cheese!

Kumusha Cabernet Sauvignon

Reg. $14.99 15% Off $12.24

The Cabernet is peppery and slightly gamy like a northern Rhone Syrah with notes of leather and earth like a great Bordeaux. The wine is destemmed and then put in an old oak cask for an extended maceration of thirty days before being taken off the skins. The wine is then aged in large oak casks for a year, bottled and then aged in bottle for four additional months.
